Admission and Enrollment (Basic Education)

Every student has the right to enroll in any school, college, or university upon meeting its specific requirements and reasonable regulations.  Provided, that except in the case of academic delinquency and violation of disciplinary regulations, the student is presumed to be qualified for enrollment for the entire period he is expected to complete his course without prejudice to his right to transfer.

ON- SITE ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES FOR THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF STUDENTS:

1. New Students

  • Secure Routing Slip @ the GTC office
  • GTC for Verification of PDS
  • REGISTRAR’S OFFICE for clearance/evaluation of records
  • REGISTRAR’S OFFICE for submission of Credentials/Tagging
  • Check Email for new ISMIS Username and Password. Send Email to ict@ndu.edu.ph if you have not received your ISMIS USERNAME and PASSWORD
  • BUSINESS OFFICE/Partners Institutions for Down payment
  • College for Class Schedule/Study Load

 

2. Transferee

  • Secure Routing Slip @ the GTC office
  • GTC for Verification of PDS
  • COLLEGE DEAN’S OFFICE for acceptance to the Program
  • REGISTRAR’S OFFICE for submission Credentials/Accreditation/Tagging
  • Check Email for new ISMIS Username and Password. Send Email to ict@ndu.edu.ph if you have not received your ISMIS USERNAME and PASSWORD
  • BUSINESS OFFICE for Down payment
  • College for Class Schedule/Study Load

 

3. Returning Students (Those who stopped for at least a semester)

  • Secure Routing Slip @ the Reg. Office
  • REGISTRAR’S OFFICE for clearance/evaluation of records
  • BUSINESS OFFICE for clearance of back accts/Down payment
  • College Dean’s office for re-acceptance to the Program
  • REGISTRAR’S OFFICE for Re-Tagging
  • College for Class Schedule/Study Load

 

4. Shifters

  • Secure Routing Slip @ the Reg. Office
  • FORMER COLLEGE for Clearance to shift
  • NEW COLLEGE for Admission to the New Academic Program
  • REGISTRAR’S OFFICE for Re-Tagging
  • BUSINESS OFFICE for clearance of Back accts/Down payment
  • COLLEGE for Class Schedule/Study Load

 

ENROLLMENT THROUGH REPRESENTATIVE:

  • An Authorization letter from the enrollee must be submitted; photocopy of student’s ID, and Photocopy of representative’s valid ID.

 

ADMISSION CREDENTIALS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Original Senior High School Card with school seal for New Freshman
  • Original Transcript of Records with school seal and Certificate of Transfer Credential (Honorable Dismissal) for Transferee
  • Original Certificate of Good Moral Character (CGMC)
  • Original PSA Birth Certificate
  • Original PSA Marriage Certificate for Married Female Enrollee
  • One (1) pc. 2 X 2 COLORED ID Picture with white background
  • Long brown envelope for submitted documents.

 

WITHDRAWAL OF ENROLLMENT

  • Official Withdrawal of Enrollment
  • Within the first week of classes: 10% of the total charges for the term
  • Within the second week of Classes: 20% of the total charges for the term
  • If the withdrawal is applied after the prescribed period for official withdrawal of enrollment, the student shall pay all the fees charged for the whole school term. Subjects enrolled are marked NC (NO CREDIT) in the students’ Permanent Record.

 

STUDENTS WHO WISH TO WITHDRAW THEIR ENROLLMENT MUST UNDERGO THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES:

  1. Get Application for Official Withdrawal of Enrolment at the Registrar’s Office.
  2. Proceed to the Dean’s Office for an Exit Interview and Approval of the College Dean.
  3. Process Charges/Refund at the NDU Business Office. The Business Office will only process the student’s withdrawal of enrolment upon presentation of a duly accomplished withdrawal form with the College Dean’s Signature.
  4. Submit a copy of the Withdrawal Form to the Registrar’s Office.

 

LATE REGISTRATION 

  • Classes missed due to late registration shall be counted as absence from class. Allowable absences should only be 20% of the entire class and laboratory hours per semester.
